How long will Fan the Fire run?
Until we have accumulated our entire recording budget.
When is the album going to be released?
Once we have accumulated the recording budget and begun recording we will update everyone on an estimated release date. The goal is have it out before Christmas.
Doesn't a label typically finance a recording project?
Yes, but Day of Fire currently has no record deal, in other words we are not signed to any record label. In essence, you, the fans, are stepping in where a conventional label would normally stand. You are helping us to finance a musical project which will allow us to continue our mission to the world.
Can I contribute other than through Fan the Fire?
Yes, if you would like to contribute outside of the Fan the Fire project or other than monetarily please email your interest to dayoffire@yahoo.com and we can put you in direct contact with our management.
How long will Fan the Fire run?
Well, that will partly depend on the amount of interest and involvement, but the plan is to run the program through August ‘08.
When is the album going to be released?
Our goal is to release in the Fall of ’08. However, right now we can determine that the album will be released before Christmas 2008. As we move along in the recording process we will get a better idea on the release date and we will keep you informed.
What about credit card payment?
Pay pal facilitates the use of credit cards; you do not need a pay pal account to use your credit card through pay pal. It is a safe and secure connection used by millions of people every day.
What is the money used for?
Contributions will be used to cover the cost of the recording process & manufacturing the album, including packaging and artwork. Contribution will also be used for marketing purposes & tour support i.e. getting the word out about the album. Contributions will not be used to pay the salary of band members.
